STEVE EZZO & THE MONTEREY BAY ALL-STARS Our band, as
heard on the Web Page, "Audio Clips", is a seven piece band
that consists of
guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, saxophone, trumpet and a male vocalist,
but we also perform as an eight piece band by adding our female vocalist or we
can eliminate the horns and give you a five (see photo) or six piece group. The
guitarist also sings lead on select songs and other band members provide
background vocals.
This band is comprised of the BEST of the BEST in the Monterey area. They
are an extremely gifted group of performers who are full-time musicians each
with over twenty years of professional experience. Their versatile
repertoire allows them to perform music that transcends generations, making them
the perfect choice for a wedding reception or other event where there is a wide
range of ages. However, they can also focus on one style of music for a
theme party or do an entire evening of Jazz, R&B/Motown, Oldies, or Rock, if

SIZE
AND INSTRUMENTATION OF THE BAND The band can
expand to the size of an orchestra by adding another
saxophone, a trombone, and even three violins. For smaller venues or
smaller budgets, the band can be reduced to five pieces by eliminating the horns
or they can even perform as a quartet or trio. We will tailor the size of the band
and the style of music to your specific
event. We can also graduate the size of the band beginning with a solo
guitar for cocktails, then a Jazz trio or quartet for dinner, followed by a
larger band for dancing. We are flexible and will work with you to design
a musical program that best fits your needs.
BAND PLUS
DISC JOCKEY If you cannot decide between a band
and a Disc Jockey, have both! Steve Ezzo is also a professional DJ and for
a small additional fee, will bring his professional DJ equipment and provide DJ
services during the band breaks. Another option is to have the band and DJ
alternate sets. With the added DJ services, you can expand the music to
include all of the very latest hits.
INCLUDED FREE OF CHARGE The band leader will perform Master of
Ceremony duties as required, provide a wireless microphone for your use,
optional dance lighting upon request, and the services of a sound technician and assistant to help
coordinate the announcements and musical performance all at no additional
charge. Recorded music will
be played during band breaks at no cost, or you can opt for DJ services for a
small fee.
OUR
SOUND SYSTEM We use a state-of-the-art Bose Personalized
Amplification System. Can you see the P. A. in the photo of the Monterey
Bay All-Stars below? No? That's the point! With a beautifully
decorated room, the last thing you want to see are large speakers on unsightly
tripod poles in front of the band or taking up room on the dance floor.
With our system, people don't even notice the 24 high quality speakers because
they are located in one thin pole. Look just right of the center of the
photo next to the musician. That's it! In addition to being
unobtrusive, it is also a superior system because the sound covers the room
evenly from side to side and from front to back. You can stand immediately
in front of the system and the volume is virtually the same as it is in the back
of the room. The Bose P. A. can be used in small venues or large ballrooms.
We have even used it for a corporate event in an airport hanger!
